GORONTALO

Gorontalo, located in the deep Tomini Gulf with waters over 4,000 meters deep, attracts large ocean creatures like whales, sharks, and dolphins, along with transparent sea life. It features unique cliffs, caves, crevices, pinnacles, and underwater sand dunes.

BOLSEL

Diving in Bolsel is an incredible underwater experience with clear waters teeming with marine life, including schools of Barracudas, Jackfish, and Black/White tip sharks, creating a diver's paradise.

Today’s a reminder that sharks, yes, even the biggest ones aren’t monsters. They’re guardians of our ocean.

Meet Sherly, one of Gorontalo’s gentle giants.
Whale sharks are the biggest fish on Earth, but they’re harmless filter feeders, no teeth to fear, only wide mouths that gulp down plankton and tiny fish near our bagans.

They’re a sign of a healthy ocean, but they’re also vulnerable, boat strikes, pollution, and careless tourism can put them at risk. That’s why how we dive with them matters.

Keep your distance. Stay calm. Never touch.
Every respectful encounter means they keep coming back to Gorontalo’s warm waters, year after year.

This Shark Awareness Day, let’s celebrate these peaceful sharks by protecting them, not just today, but every day we jump in. 🫧
